Kanab Murals & Visitor Center | 12 Utah Staycations
While most cities have pretty generic flyers with semi-good information on them, we felt like Kanab was killing it with awesome flyers/brochures and suggestions. Seriously, the people there gave good information and were super friendly. The Visitor Center is a hopping place in Kanab!
For the last few years, we’ve been stopping at the local Visitor Centers to find activities in new territory. Who remembers trying to do school reports and having to call somewhere (which I now know are Visitor Centers) and you'd get a cool box of postcards and brochures mailed to you. I had no idea that these were actual places and people who worked there. And they are FREE! Anyways, stopping at the local Visitor Centers are ALWAYS a good idea.
While searching Pinterest is nice, it’s always good to talk to some friendly faces who really know the area.
My husband and I were honestly, VERY impressed with Kanab’s flyers. Lots of good information, directions and pretty photos to go along with it.

This 3d printed map was amazing!
Did you know Kanab is where MANY of the old westerns were filmed? Lots of movie stars stayed in Kanab, you can read signs about famous movie stars along the streets!
Not only that but their murals on the Kanab Visitor Center were freaking AWESOME. We're excited to share some of the Murals found in Kanab!
The murals probably bring in tons of traffic, I mean who wouldn't want to see what's inside such a good looking building?
