Date night continues!  See the first part of our date HERE. 

I have seen a few racing photos on instagram and was so excited to find out that K1 Speed was here in Salt Lake City (Sandy to be exact). So we added it to our Utah Bucket List and were just waiting for the time to go check it out.

This is the perfect double date activity, or group date, the more people the better. You can race each other which is super fun, or if your group was really big, you can watch others in your group race each other which is a blast! I would know because I did both. I raced the first race with our group, then I sat the second race out and cheered on from the side lines. The race was 14 laps long and I must be getting really old because I got motion sickness. I usually only have that issue in the car when someone else is driving, not when I drive, but these cars are super fast, and with the helmet on, it just proved to be too much for my stomach.

Even though I got sick and didn't want to race the second race, I would absolutely go racing again! It really was a ton of fun. We couldn't stop laughing, and sometimes you just have the need for speed!

Shockingly, Dan won! Look, I was just surprised because he is such a cautious driver on the road, but he ended up schooling all of us. And he beat the average for first time racer.

We had a great time at K1 and recommend them for the perfect double or group date. Kids can ride too, but need to meet height requirement, and can't race with adults, so be sure to check out all the rules on the website before you go.
