Hyrum City Park
"But don't go trying to use the same route twice. Indeed, don't try to get there at all. It'll happen when you're not looking for it. " - C.S. Lewis. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
As we were traveling up to Hardware Ranch, we passed through the little town of Hyrum. As soon as Stephanie and I got out of the cars, we claimed that we were going to live there one day. The town had Christmas lights still up all down their main street. Made me feel like Christmas was still here. (See our post about the Best Sledding Hill in Hyrum.)
Just as the Professor said, "It'll happen when you're not looking for it." It's so true.

This magical little park was so unexpected, it caught both our hearts on the way up to Hardware Ranch.
We vowed that we would go back to explore.
Swings, rivers, bridges, playgrounds, sticks, untouched snow. There were no sounds, except for the rushing river and the snow slowing dropping from the trees. Well, it was quiet until we unleashed the herd.

It was all so magical. Nothing could go wrong and we really felt like Narnia was real. Ya know, all expect for that war part. Just the happy parts. Happy thoughts.

There was a stream that surrounded the park, crystal clear and even growing ever green plants.

The kids acted like this was the best and first park they had ever been to in their entire lives.

We are definetly putting this park on our list of places to come back too. Can you imagine what it will look like in the summer?
I couldn't find the exact location, but here's what their website said:
Located eight miles east of the mouth of Blacksmith Fork Canyon on the south side of Hwy 101 between the Canyon Lodge and Canyon Campground. There are eight picnic tables with freestanding BBQ devices nearby, volleyball court, and playground equipment. No reservations are required. Portable toilets are available.
