Say hello to Hoover's River Resort in Marysvale Utah! This lovely resort is home to SOME delicious treats! We stopped in after soaking at TWO hot springs, Mystic, and Red Hills.
Our awesome tour guide, Katelin, told us we needed to try the Dole Whips from Hoover's, we didn't say no.
You can get a mix of vanilla and dole whip or do the fancy like Steph and get it on a cone with fruity pebbles!
So good!
Rizden voted for the bubble gum!
Behind Hoover's (this is their private resort and we did ask for permission.) is their awesome campground annnnnnnnnnddddddd
this beautiful river, complete with a lovely dock and bridge! (Don't DIVE, it's not deep!)
I never pass up a good jump into the river!
Only thing is, the current was SUPER fast. It wasn't my best idea to let little Orion jump, he did have his floaties on, but it was really hard to get him back to shore. There's even a rope across the river so you can grab on and pull, but it proved too much for me. My husband had to jump in and grab Orion for me. Not my proudest mom moment and truly was pretty scary.

Since my husband had to get in to grab Orion, he decided he might as well jump too. Again, this proved to be somewhat a problem. It's not a deep river, so Dan cut his leg on a rock.
So DON'T DIVE IN!
Stephanie's older kids just got in on the side and floated down the river to the rope and pulled themselves in a couple of times.
If you find yourself heading to Big Rock County Mountain, be sure to stop and get a treat at Hoover's!
- I'll admit, it was a SUPER fast current and kind of scary. I would not recommend this if you aren't a confident swimmer.
- The Dock is privately owned, but we had the owner's permission to jump.
- Hoover's is open seasonally. Closed during the winter.
