Windy's Sukiyaki just turned 40 this last year and I can't help but think, my grandma was probably there when it Windy's opened!

In fact, now that I think about it, Stephanie's grandma was probably there too.  Before Stephanie and I started this blog, we met on Instagram, but before all this social media jazz, our grandmas KNEW each other. Like, for forever, and lived in the same neighborhood in Ogden.

Our parents went to the same high school.  Steph and I actually were raised in the same neighborhood, it's like we were meant to start The Salt Project.  Windy's has been local favorite with our families and we are excited to keep the tradition with our kids too!

We were able to book a Private Tea Room.  It was a good thing too, because with 6 kids, it ain't no easy thang going out to eat! 

The food was pretty delish.  It was Dan and Steph's kids first time eating sushi.

While the kids might not have been the biggest fans (especially with the fishier rolls) we, the parents loved it. 

We loved how secluded our little tea room was, it kept the kids quite contained and no one had a melt-down or anything. ;)  The food was lovely to behold and the company even better.  It's always nice to have a successful dinner outing.
