Friends, it's hot and it seems like our summer diets consist of mainly watermelon and green smoothies. No one wants to cook, let alone turn on the blazing oven.

Let us introduce you to one of Harmony's Favorite places to grab fresh, organic, local grub.

A Good Life Cafe on 25th Street is amazing! They used to be in a small upstairs loft area, but have expanded and have their own place on 25th.

We always get the Acai Bowls. This one is the Chunky Monkey. Even the littles love this. It's big enough for 3 adults to share as an appetizer. The smoothie is the Day at the Beach. Perfect name for a summer drink right?

We ordered the Ogden Club, Hearty Ham & Brie Cheese & The Big Tuna. All were made with local ingredients if possible. The Big Tuna was made with a vegan mayo and fresh dill. So delicious.

One of Harmony's favorite sandwiches to get is the Viva Veggie. Seriously, so good. The portions are large, so you could probably do with a half sandwich. Or you could be like Harmony and eat it ALL.

It's always hopping. Plus Gary and Gloria are amazing people as well. The next time you’re at A Good Life Café, let your server or cashier know you’d like to include an “Everyone’s a Winner” Chip to your order. The poker chip is designed so you can take it with you and the next time you see someone less fortunate or who would benefit from a healthy meal, you can give it to them. The Winner Chip can be redeemed for a Bowl of house-made Soup and toast or another special Gary has prepared just for them.

The “Winner Chip” can be purchased for just a $1.00 contribution. Seriously, how cool is that?

Not only is their summer food delish, try their winter and fall menus too. Harmony will always try the specials. Like the Quinoa Bowl with Pumpkin and fresh veggies. Yum. It's always different and always good. We've NEVER been disappointed.

So next time you are out in Ogden, be sure to add A Good Life Cafe to your lunch/dinner itinerary.

Don't forget to buy a "Everyone's a Winner" Chip!

Thanks to A Good Life Cafe for hosting The Salt Project!

We visited the Good life Café today. The food was yummy! My two kids each had mac n' cheese (super creamy and homemade tasting) and hot chocolate, I had half a Viva Veggie sandwich (SO delicious), a cup of Portabella Mushroom Bisque, and their Lemon Ginger Kombucha. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean. However, it is pretty spend! Our lunch was $38!
