We thought it would be fun to do a Birthday Party series here on the blog because between the 3 of us, we have 10 kids under 10! That's a whole lots of partying going on every year. We went to Dartside a few months ago and my son(9yrs) loved it so much, he begged to have his birthday party there. He requested cheese pizza and all things Minecraft. So Lucky Slice cheese pizza and Dartside Minecraft he got!

Our family had never done a party like this before. We usually host them at our home or a park and do all the set up, take down, and clean up.
The birthday package at Dartside includes drinks, plates, napkins, play time for party guests, and use of the main area where there are tables and a drinking fountain.
When we walked in the first thing I noticed were the tables all wrapped in black and ready to go! So awesome. I picked up balloons on the way and decided to have Lucky Slice deliver the pizza because they have a new location in Layton, just a few minutes from Dartside.
All I had to do was make the cake!
As the tiny guest arrived one by one we played Don't Eat Steve (the Minecraft version of Don't Eat Pete) while we waited for everyone.
I found free printable HERE. Pinterest is a total game changer for parties. So easy.
We had 30 minutes of party time before our game time started. This was just enough time to play and eat our ginormous pizzas!
You should have seen the kids jaw drop with the pizza guy came in with those giant boxes.
We had about 30 people and had 2 entire pizza's left over. They are huge!
After pizza we took off our shoes (don't forget socks) and gathered to hear the rules and get our gear on.
We talked Locke's Nana and Uncles and Aunt to join in the fun, they didn't believe us that it was so fun, but after the first round they were hooked!
I can't count the number of times I heard someone say "that was so fun!" We made some great memories.
After an hour of laughing, dodging, and shooting we went back to the main room.The room was all clean and ready for us to sing and eat our Minecraft cake/krispies and open presents. We made some great memories.
The Dartside staff treated us like gold! We will definitely be back AGAIN! And a huge shout out to Lucky Slice Pizza. Everyone LOVED it! The kids ate cheese to their hearts content and the rest of us enjoyed some killer chicken bacon ranch. This party was easy to plan and even easier to host. All I really had to do was take pictures and shoot people. The perfect party for boys and girls alike. Everyone loved it, ages 4-57! Can't wait to share more party ideas with you in the coming weeks.

Leave the baby at home if you want to play
Wear socks
If you have a kid that is scared to play or too young, there is a target range in the front that they can practice on while the rest of the group plays.

Private Parties and Team Building Events
Businesses or corporations come to us for their team-building needs. Private parties are designed for large groups of 20 to 50 participants. Staff will work with you to create a special event with options such as custom dart tag games, tournaments, and prizes. Held during hours when we are not normally open to the public, we offer these in the form of:
$165.00 for up to 10 guests, $9.00 for each additional participant.
1 bottle of water for each participant
1 hour of arena of play time
30 minutes of additional time for meetings or team-building exercises.
