Have you been to Antelope Island yet? Yes? Well, have you been during a moonlight night sky? What about biking? Because The Salt Project is super excited to let you know about Davis County's Antelope by Moonlight Bike (Non-competitive) Race!
This year's theme is "The Dark Side of The Moon."
The ride starts July 7, 2017 at 10pm at White Rock Bay and is lit by the full moon. How cool is that?
The 24 mile route goes from White Rock Bay to the historic Fielding Garr Ranch and back. It's a fairly easy going ride and everyone is decked out in all sorts of funny outfits and glow in the dark accessories. If you have kids that can handle being up late, sign them up too! There's even going to be a bike decorating contest and the winner will receive a bike!
We're super excited to go bike around Antelope Island but we are also super excited because this is our first race ever!
Be sure to check out the website and bring the appropriate gear. There is some required gear, so you'll want to check out the details.
If you are going, we'd love to meet up with you! Join our Facebook Group (Search for The Salt Project Crew) and let us know.
So come join The Salt Project and let's race! (Non-competitively ... because really we aren't fast.)
We've teamed up with Davis County to giveaway 2 entries + 2 helmets for Antelope by Moonlight Dark Side of the Moon Race!To enter, head over to our Instagram. Hope to see you there!
