We partnered up with Gibson's Green Acres Dairy, Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch. This is their first year doing a pumpkin patch and corn maze. Honestly, I felt they killed it! All their pumpkins are “specialty” pumpkins and are super unique. After picking pumpkins you weigh them on the scale. Plus, they have all sorts of activity passes you can buy. Something for all ages.

My kids loved the giant slide and even went by themselves all the way down.  Multiple times. I thought they would get tired climbing up all those stairs…but they just kept going and going.

Apparently, I haven't been out in the evenings because I completely spaced that the world gets dark around 6:30. So we hurry and ran to the pumpkin patch so we could pick them with some light.

It was quite the process, the kids loved all the different colors and sizes.

Of course we spent TOO MUCH time in the corn pit…we couldn’t tear them away from it.

They have three large corn mazes and a mini hay maze.  We went through the mini hay maze but it was getting dark and I didn’t think the kids would like going through the tall one…especially if we got lost for a while.

Be sure to have a waterspout game, petting zoo, food and tractor ride!

I actually loved the tractor ride because they go over the history of Green Acres. 140 years of dairy farming. To keep the farm running they needed to add something more. So the corn maze and pumpkin patch came! They actually designed their own corn maze by hand and their corn planting machine planted it for them using cross planting. We also got to see the baby cows and watch the mamas get milked. They milk 23 hours a day! With over 1500 cows that need to be milked 3-4 times a day…my mind was reeling with numbers.

Believe you me; this place is the perfect place to bring the family. Plenty of AWESOME pumpkins left! Thanks for having The Salt Project!
