Fish Lake | 12 Utah Staycations
Welcome to Fish Lake in Fish Lake National Park! Located in the sweet county of Sevier! Years ago, when I was probably 6 or 7, my family camped at Fish Lake. I don't have a whole lot of memories other than my little sister falling off the dock into the frozen water. That's it. So I was SUPER excited when I found out that Fish Lake was on our itinerary for our 8th Staycation! We've teamed up with Utah's Trail Country to giveaway and AWESOME Staycation in Sevier County! So be sure to it out!
Also, we have an epic overlook you need to check out, either before or after your visit to the Lodge! Check out the Pando Forest Overlook!
The Lodge at Fish Lake is one of the largest lodges made out of logs! It smells like a forest! It's seen some better days, but the lodge truly is magnificent.
We walked around the grounds and checked out the architecture.
Apparently, this is where they used to hold church, but they had so many people there that the floors couldn't sustain the people for much longer.

Near the lodge is a little walk way to the shores of Fish Lake.
They've also just started building a new boardwalk too!
I didn't bring my fishing pole, who am I?! I hear the fishing is pretty amazing here.
The water was SOO blue. The kids could have spent hours here playing. Somehow,
One day, we'll have to come camping here!
Katelin, the local guide, showed us these epic tree roots too. It kind of reminds me of Banyan trees.
These roots can be found right up by twin creeks, right next to the covered patio area!
Fish Lake, you were dreamy!
Wish we could have spent at least the whole day! It seems like the perfect place to do a camping trip or family reunion!
We packed everyone up and then headed home. Thanks to Katelin and Chad for showing us the ropes of Sevier County!
Our Staycation Giveaway is still live! Be sure to enter here! Thanks to Utah's Trail Country for hosting The Salt Project!
