Can we talk about electronic devices for a minute? If your kids are on an iPad or a phone, a computer or even playing on your phone, you need to protect them and monitor their time in front of the screen right? Well, I have tried a few different on-line services over the years to help filter the internet but in the end, I just never trusted them and as a result my kids have zero access to the internet without my supervision.

A couple months ago, we received a Disney Circle to try in our home. GAME CHANGER! Oh my goodness! I LOVE IT! I have total control of every device that is connected to our internet. I control everything from how long they have screen time, to what they are allowed to view!

I can even set bedtimes for devices. I thought this was great until 10pm came around and my Instagram stopped working! I didn't realize how much I was on the internet and how late in the evening some nights, so I decided I needed a curfew on my phone too. The only bad thing is that I have the master control on my phone so I can extend my bedtime if I want, but I do try to stick to it unless it's an emergency.

When we first got the Circle it sat on my counter for a week. I was waiting for my tech husband to set it up for us. He had a crazy work week and never got around to it so I finally opened the box to give it a try, it couldn't be that hard right?

It was literally three steps. Open. Plug in. Download app. Done!

Once I opened my app, every single device in our home popped up on the screen. From there I assigned a photo and customized each device with a bedtime, time limit, and parental controls for everyone in our home. So incredibly simple. I couldn't get over it!

If the kids are good, I can gift them extra time. If we are having family time and the internet is too tempting, I can hit "Pause" and all of us will be on lock down until I hit the button again. It really helps keep me in check with my devices too.

I just click the photo and can customize anything I need to.

I feel SO much better letting the kids play knowing their device is protected and they won't accidentally be exposed to something that can have devastating affects on their young minds. And they love having a little more independence.

We're so excited to have Circle in our home, we wanted to share it with you too!

We've partnered up with Disney Circle to giveaway one Circle to one of you lucky moms! To enter, visit the website and check out more about Circle, then come back and leave a comment. You can also go to our Instagram account and enter there. To purchase Circle, click here.

I would love to win this! I was just thinking that I needed more control over how much time my kids spend on devices.

Jeremy Beck Wed, 05/10/2017 - 09:17

This would be incredible because our kids are still pretty young and they actually spend a lot of time on the iPad and TV. I also entered to win on Instagram under my username @beckchileno

It is very important to me to limit screen time and be able to "gift" more time if it is earned and not only THAT, PROTECT them from bad things on the internet. I would love to win this!!

I have wanted to try this in our home. To be able to give my children the freedom of being on their devises and have one less thing to nag them about would be so helpful. I want to protect my children in every way possible, and this would be a wonderful assistant. And we must add we love your beautiful pictures, blog, and wisdom. I would love to be considered for this giveaway.

I have looked into these before and I totally want one!! I love that it will help me limit screen time better.

I've been looking for something like this! Thanks for the great idea!

I've never heard of such a thing. This is so neat. I haven't let my kids have their own devices. This might change things…fingers crossed.

I love that you can watch and block your kids from viewing things that they shouldn't. I also loved all the comments about easy set up. I can't do super in depth electronic setups.

I would really enjoy having this to limit my kids being on the internet in the summer!

I am really not that tech savvy but Disney Circle seems fairly easy to use. With electronics of all types in the home and struggling with kids to get off them Disney Circle appears to be a great solution. Of course, we'd love to win one but if not this is an obvious by for our family.
