Dartside in The Layton Hills Mall

I asked my 6 year old what he wanted to do for his birthday party. He didn't even think for two seconds before screaming DartSide! This place was on my kids summer bucket list and fall bucket list. DartSide was so gracious to make a little six year old boys dream come true by hosting us for the ultimate crazy fun birthday party!

The new DartSide is NEW and IMPROVED located inside the Layton Hills Mall. It has a party area and tons of seating for smaller groups. There is DartCity for the littles to play in while the older kids are in the arena AND... They have giant hamster balls to race in! This was my favorite part, well, and the DartCity, because Berdee (2yrs) loved playing there for the hour and a half that we were there.

First things you need: You need to sign a waiver (you can do it online before) and you need socks! That's it!

Welcome to DartCity! All the kids loved it, but it does have a 6 year max for playing, so the older kids just helped push the littles in their cars and get them interested in the play houses, then they all had to sneak out to go to the arena.

We were briefed on the rules and the gear and then we were off to play!

Birthday Boy!

We had so much fun and it is such a good work out.

After our hour of playing we were exhausted and headed to the party area to open presents and dig into our donut cake (aka pile of donuts, the kids love it).

Then we took a spin in the hamster balls. DartCity and the hamster balls are discounted when you buy a DartSide pass to play. So plan on doing it all when you go for a better value.

We wanted to see if the kids could do it, they all could but Riz (6 yrs), he needed help. There is no age limit on the balls, as long as they can move them. My niece is special needs (13 yrs) and she wanted to try it. She needed a little assistance keeping it going and they were very accommodating and allowed us to help her through the course.

We LOVE DartSide, our kids love it, their friends love it. We LOVE the new location and the new toys and can't wait to go back.
