Cross E Ranch is a family owned farm in SLC. This is their first year doing a pumpkin patch and they rocked it!
Baby animals, A big red barn, hayride, 2 awesome mazes, corn pit, you name it. They have it.
We started with the hayride. They kids loved it and we learned a lot about farming and the history of the ranch.
And of course, we have the obligatory family on a hayride photos.
Then we visited the little pigs because, Babe!
They hope to be able to rent the barn out in the future, but for now, they play scary movies on the side of it on the weekends. (call for movie schedule)
The corn pit was a huge it. It was pretty deep, so the kids felt like they were swimming in corn. They could have stayed in there for hours.
Aberdeen(1) was thrilled with her first pumpkin patch experience.
This was their first year planting pumpkins, um, ya, I think they nailed it. They had a great selection, including the cute flat pumpkins, white pumpkins, and even squash!
The field was full of pumpkins for the kids to hunt around and find the perfect one!
This maze was awesome, and surprisingly hard to find our way around, it took us about 20 minutes to find the exit. There is also a kiddie maze that is about 3ft high. Perfect for the littles.
They also have wagons to carry your loot.
As the sun went down, the bugs came out. Be sure to take bug spray if you go in the evening.
