We have the most incredible hidden gem to share today! We have driven by this place for years and every once in awhile I would catch a glimpse of some blue slides camouflaged inside a forest of trees. This year we decided to go check it out.
Right at the top of the viaduct there is a small sign for Classic Waterslides. Turn there. You drive under the viaduct right next to the train tracks. There is a small building, a small parking lot, and and there on the forest covered hill is a small water park. I really didn't expect much to be honest. There are only 3 slides, a splash pad, and a kid area.

Well, there may only be 3 slides (4 if you count the one in the kid area), but these slides are legit! They allow double and triple riders for double and triple the fun!
There are no tubes to rent that you have to babysit the whole time. Instead there are pads you can use if you want, but they are optional and you just grab them on your way up if you want to use them.
There are 2 sides to the pads. One side is slippery so you'll go faster, the other side has traction to slow you down a bit. This is great if you have little ones. Or you can always just go down without a pad for medium speed. The lines were short and fast, the kids literally went on the slides over and over, non stop for 4 hours and could have stayed longer. The top 2 slides are SO incredibly fun, especially the octopus while riding with a partner. We laughed so hard we were swallowing water and just trying to stay up! And we've got the go-pro footage to prove it. Seriously fun times for sure.
The kid area is actually quite big with lots of areas to play and slide. Then in the back there is a large wide kid slide. Adults can ride it too. All in all.
This is a great family place. They allow food and drink or have items for purchase. There were plenty of chairs. Slides for riders of any age.
We will definitely be back, but be leaving baby home next time. She actually really loved it here, but one of us had to stay with her while the others were sliding. And that someone was usually me. Hey, moms like to ride waterslides too!
We give this hidden gem 2 thumbs up!
