Children's Treehouse Museum | Step into a Story | Ogden | Field Trippin'
I didn't know the Treehouse Museum existed until I went two years ago with my cousin. She grew up in Ogden and went to the Treehouse Museum when she was in grade school. That was 25 years ago. You'd think I would have heard about this place sometime in those 25 years.

After going that one time, we got a year pass. ($50 for 2 adults and little Aiko, for a whole year? You betcha.) When Aiko was 6 months I got pregnant with little brother and I really didn't venture out as much as I should have. I did try to go out at least once a week to the Treehouse for Aiko's sake. It changed her whole world.

Aiko didn't start walking until she was 17 months, literally ONE month before little brother was born. (People didn't think it was weird, because she was so tiny, they didn't think she was even a year yet!) I attribute her finally learning to walk to the Treehouse. She literally learned to walk after watching all the other kids run around.

Now, we go to the Treehouse regularly. It's become Aiko's domain and now, little brother can crawl around just like his big sister. Hopefully he'll learn to walk earlier too!
The best thing about the Treehouse is the friendly staff. Seriously, always so happy! Plus, they literally go around and pick up toys that kids don't put away.
The building really is amazing. We never, ever get bored. Things are always changing and there are parts of the Museum we've hardly explored.
Usually, Aiko will pick one area that we spend most of our time in.
I recently found out that they had a theater room too. The plays are done by the kids and they love it.
They have a Curious George Exhibit that is visiting from Minnesota. You guys, it's amazing! Seriously, top of the line. We went and the kids spent the WHOLE time there. We had to pry them away. We'll be posting more about it tomorrow, plus we may or may not have some family day passes to giveaway tomorrow...

Admission Policies
Because Treehouse is for children and families, all children must be accompanied by a grown-up and all grown-ups must be accompanied by a child age 1-12. Tours for interested grown-ups (educators, grandparents, etc.) may be arranged by calling Treehouse at 801-394-9663.
Treehouse is often quite busy and strollers can block walkways, limiting wheelchair access, and even damage exhibits. Because of this all strollers must be parked in the locker lobby. Exceptions are made for moms with physical issues, twins, and sleeping babies. Treehouse has small baby slings for loan.
Tips:
- If you have a Membership the lockers are included as well.
- Leave your strollers at home. They don't really let you take them pass entry.
- With my 2 year old we usual go for an hour at a time.
- The Membership is totally the way to go! Think birthday presents, Christmas presents, but lasts for a whole year. Plus ANY two adults can use the pass with the child. So it's awesome for Grandparents outings too.
