Lunch dates are few and far between these days but the weather was perfect for lunch so we packed up the kids and headed to THE MOST darling cafe in Farmington, located on the most beautiful tree-lined street. If you've been to Main Street in Farmington then you know what I'm talking about. Caffé Torino is tucked inside a charming antique home built in 1902. You can eat inside or out, but if I ever have a choice and the weather is good I choose to eat alfresco.

While this is a classic cafe with coffees, espressos and baked goods, they also have a great variety of other drink options, paninis, crepes, and gelato! The gelato is made locally from Sweetaly.

We didn't order Hot Cocoa, but I couldn't help getting a photo, it was so pretty. This would be the perfect place to come warm up when the weather gets colder.

While our crepes were cooking we headed out back to wait.

They have a lovely little courtyard and grassy area for the kids to play.

And plenty of sun and shade.

Berdee loved her smoothie.

And I couldn't pass up the raspberry cream CRONUT! Have you had one? They are do die for! The perfect mix between a donut and a croissant.

And they pair lovely with Italian Cream Sodas. Strawberry Cream was our favorite with kiwi coming in at a close second.

For lunch we tried a couple savory crepes. We highly recommend the Roma.

And look who ate an entire panini filled with veggies!

Strawberries Banana Nutella crepe for the win. This might have been my favorite (second to the cronut).

This darling cafe is perfect for a business lunch, going out with the girls, or grabbing a treat with the kids. And starting in a few weeks, we can add Date Night to the list! They are going to be kicking off a date night series for the summer starting May 17th. They will be bringing in local chefs to provide cuisine from around the world! How fun! We are definitely coming back to check it out!

You know how much we love supporting locally family owned businesses. Just another reason to love this sweet cafe. While we were visiting, we had the opportunity to meet the new owners of Caffe Torino. They were so sweet and have some amazing things planned for the place.

And we couldn't leave without sampling the Sweetaly Gelato! I think Salted Carmel won the overall vote with our crew, but the Straciatella had my vote. So simple and light and topped with little chocolate curls.

We can't wait to come back for date night and will definitely make Caffe Torino a regular stop after visiting our favorite Farmington adventures like Lagoon Trail, Farmington Pond, Davis Creek, Indian Bathtubs, and Car Graveyard Hike.

And if you are still looking for a perfect mothers day gift. They are hositng a Mothers Day Brunch Sunday 9-2 with specialty crepes and fresh berry parfait.
