If you've been following along on our RV Staycation, you know that we love rocks. I mean, we just visited the Dugway Geode Beds and U-Dig Fossils, so it only seemed natural to visit an actual rock shop! We visited the Bug House in Delta. It's locally owned and mines many of their own rocks!
We were able to check out the shop and purchase some rocks (because you know I can't say no to rocks. Ever.)
We saw behind the scenes where all the cutting, polishing and grit happens in a rock shop. It was super cool to find out more about the whole process.
The Bug House produces/mines most of the septarian nodules for Utah. (It's another dig site on our bucket-list.)
