Blooms & Co. | The Salt & Honey Market
If you ever get the chance to take a class or workshop organized by the lovely minds behind the Salt + Honey Market, you jump on it.
The Salt + Honey Market offers AMAZING workshops at the gorgeously minimal Charcoal Loft space in downtown Salt Lake City.
Most recently, the lovelies from Salt + Honey arranged for Brynn Larsen, owner of Blooms & Company, to teach a group of us how to create a spring floral arrangement.
Having never had any formal floral arranging experience, I was thrilled to learn tips and tricks from a professional. Brynn was super knowledgeable and friendly, and taught the group how to select flowers, care for them, and arrange them in the perfect spring bouquet. Brynn provided GORGEOUS blooms for the class to work with, including some of my favorites, tulips and ranunculus*.

I loved learning about the right tools for preparing flowers for arrangements, and I loved making my very own bouquet that I could take home with me. Everyone in the class created a beautiful and unique bouquet, all using the same flowers. Plus, the Salt + Honey peeps provided yummy refreshments and a nifty swag bag for everyone's enjoyment.

Overall, the workshop provided a really awesome, creatively recharging experience in a beautiful space, and armed me with knowledge I will use for my next floral arranging adventure. I am excited to attend future workshops organized by Salt + Honey!

*P.S.--Based on this experience with Brynn and her taste in floral arrangements, I will definitely check out Blooms & Company for my next flower arrangement purchase.

If you missed the inaugural Salt + Honey Market back in December, you won't want to miss the Spring Market! The creative organizers of Salt + Honey have a knack for bringing together an awesome array of the best local vendors/crafters/artists around. Think Mother's Day gifts . . .
