Alien Worlds and Androids at The Leo | Field Trippin'

Inside the NEW Leonardo Museum exhibit you’ll find a life-size C-3PO and R2-D2 from STAR WARS, an exact replica of Tony Stark’s IRON MAN suit, robots from the TERMINATOR movies and more! Our Star Wars loving kids were LOVING it all!

This exhibit is FREE with the purchase of a regular admission ticket to the museum, so you also get to explore the rest of the museum. Plan on a minimum of 2 hours. I have to drag my kids out after 2 hours, or I have to go move the car. (We park in the 2 hr FREE parking spots on the east side of the block and across the street heading south). Otherwise there is paid parking all around the block of the Leonardo Museum.

Sometimes I'll go move the car and stay for a few more hours. There is so much to do, the time just flies!

Lego art (close up)

My kids (ages 11-2) all loved these robot hands. They could control them to pick up and move blocks.

Another new and fascinating exhibit is Where Children Sleep. I could have stayed for a couple hours just in the exhibit.

The photography was so beautiful and compelling and the stories were heartbreaking.

Needless to say, my kids learned A LOT during this trip to the museum.

And we can never leave without painting! We love that there is always a fun art project available for the kids too.

We love going during the week, but this trip was on a Saturday, I was afraid it would be crazy crowded but it wasn't. It felt like any other day, so Saturday is a great option if you want to take the whole family.

Check out our past Leo visits here.
