After taking 7 kids under the age of 8 to The Wall of Bones at the Dinosaur Quarry, we decided lunch was in order! We hit up the kid friendliest place to eat there is in Vernal, 7-11 Ranch Restaurant downtown! Not only is it a local restaurant, it's also an awesome gift shop!

We had some serious reservations about taking all the tiny kids with us. We had perhaps waited just a smidge too long too eat, so my husband was worried about all the hangry kids! When we walked in, a lady literally dropped her jaw when she saw all the kids. It was kind of hilarious.

Lcukily, they all were super sweet and actually REALLY good while waiting for the food.

A trick we've learned is to order kids meals first. We didn't even look at the menu for us yet!

I'll forever remember this place as "the place where EVERY single child had to go to the bathroom."

The kids menu had quite a few things to choose from! So we had the chicken nuggest, mac and cheese, Grilled Cheese and peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches!

Once we got the kids meals out we ordered a Rueben sandwhich and Chicken Cordonn bleu Sandwhich.

Seriously SOOo good!

The kids were so good, I actually let them choose a sucker (this never happens.) Even the tiny toddlers got suckers...I couldn't say no. 7-11 Ranch Restaurant has one of the best gift shops!

The older kids were all sugared up so we decided to walk home! Actually, we raced against the husband driving and we just barely beat him. He might have taken the long way around to help.

Vernal has so much to see downtown, but the kids ran right past the helicopter and flowers and just ran as hard as they could!

If you find yourself wondering to take kids (or even no kids) be sure to stop at 7-11 Ranch Restaurant for a good old mom and pop diner! We loved it!
