You'd think I would know Logan inside and out. Much of my family went to school at USU and are always raving about how much they love Logan. Yet, we don't seem to make it up there very often. So, we made a random choice and headed up the canyon to go and explore Logan for a half day. It's kind of random, but I love driving through cities and finding the random.
The Crepery
540 S Main St
One place I have visited on multiple occasions is The Crepery. The Crepery started because the owners wanted to adopt and needed to raise funds. So they bought this cute out house and changed Logan forever! It's been a few years, but they have since moved locations and adopted!

It's pretty scrumptious.

The crepes are pretty filling, no matter what you get. Since we've been there a few times, we never get the same thing and we've never been disappointed!

Adventure Park
400 S 600 E
We decided to release the kids at the park.
We are loving these new parks. I guess I should say "New Style" or something.

Even hanging out under the slide had kids in mind.
Every nook and cranny can be explored.
It's even fun for the grown-ups to hang out. *There aren't bathrooms here, but supposedly if the building next door is open, they allow you to use theirs.
After wearing the kids out, we decided to drive around town and check out some "oddities." As many of you know, finding the super weird/unique/odd/noteworthy things in any town is my specialty.
Clean the Sink at Angie's
690 North Main St.
Apparently, at Angie's, you can order a sink full of ice cream. It's quite an honor if you and your friends can "Clean the Sink." We've added this challenge to The Salt Project's bucket list! Kids eat free on Monday Night!
Logan LDS Temple
175 N 300 E
Sitting high up on the hill, it's so very pretty.
Giant Ball of Bike Tubes.
138 N 100 E
Actually, this is right next door is where the Crepery used to be.
Old McDonalds
810 N Main St
It's not a joke. I'm not sure how old this McDonalds is, because, well, try typing it in and see how many songs come up instead. But it's just kind of my favorite place. Who doesn't love to check out vintage buildings!
A&W
701 N Main St
Speaking of vintage, check out this old A&W. You can still order in your car.
Willow Park Zoo
419 W 700 S
Did you know that Utah has a second zoo? A much smaller zoo, but still a fun zoo!
Herm's Inn
1435 Canyon Rd
Fat Boys Ice Cream
11805 N 200 E, Richmond
Did you know the Fat Boys are made in Richmond Utah? Just north of Logan you can find the Fat Boy Ice Cream outlet and Pepperidge Farm outlet! Think cheese fish crackers! Both places sale the seconds at a cheaper rate. I mean, Logan is a dairy place, so of course the ice cream and cheese could be found so close.
Aggie Ice Cream
750 N. 1200 E.
Speaking of ice cream, did you know that USU is famous for their Blue Mint Aggie Ice Cream? It's probably THE most famous food item in Logan.
Cox Honeyland
S State, 1780 US-89
Last but not least, on your way out, stop and check out Cox Honey. They have fresh honey and even a live beehive (certain parts of the year.) Try some fresh honeycomb...waxy yet delicious.

Hah! just logged onto your site to see what reviews and activities you had added for Logan. It was a happy surprise to see it as your most recent post! Thanks to you, my day is planned!!

Awesome! We're working on getting more. Be sure to #thesaltproject if you post any photos so we can check it out!

The picitures shown are of Adventure Park in Logan next to the Whittier Community Center, not Ryan's Place. Ryan's place is in River Heights. They are a similar type of park though.
Thanks! Fixed it.

The McDonalds isn't that old.
The McDonalds isn't that old. I remember when it was built/remodeled...maybe 20-25 years ago.
